MDS headquarters are situated a short distance outside Stockholm City within walking distance from the beautiful Swedish archipelago. The building consists of our sales and marketing department. We also have a dedicated facility in Helsingborg for product development and testing.
The company was founded in 1987 and we opened the doors to our first store in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1994. Initially MDS was named Techno Science and worked with sound for the deaf. The goal was to develop a sound or energy source that could serve as a complement to TV viewing.
Today MDS is represented in numerous countries worldwide and has established a reputation as one of the leading brands in car audio products in northern Europe. The goal now is to further establish ourselves around the world, starting with Poland, England, Spain, Italy, South Africa and USA.
High level of competence with excellent service and genuine passion for music among the staff members, combined with complete focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to deliver high quality products at extremely competitive prices makes MDS the most successful company in Scandinavia within car HiFi.
We have assembled for companies like Bentley Sweden, Callisma, Auto Ropa, Windy Boats and many more. Our biggest partner today is Pioneer. We also have a well-established sales of products from among others Armor Nordic, Alpine, KG Knutsson and many others.
In January 2009 we made partner in a Chinese factory that manufactures all our "core" products. This means we can now deliver even better products without letting the consumer pay more for it. We also have more say in how and under which circumstances our products are being produced. We can, for instance, boast that 80 percent of all production materials come from recycled materials. We can also verify that there is no child labor.
